ALICE Logistics Innovation Summit 2024 took place on 6-7 November 2024 at the Tangla Hotel (Brussels).

With logistics playing a vital role in the global economy, the Summit focused on the twin transitions of green and digital transformation, addressing the challenges and opportunities that will drive the sector over the next decade. With a focus on collaboration, innovation and sustainability, this event also served as a platform for sharing insights, promoting collaborative innovation and fostering connections between different innovation ecosystems at regional, national and European levels.

Summit highlights:

DELPHI was represented during the event by its partner ALICE!

  1. Ms. Marion Cottet, Project Manager – Urban Logistics in ALICE, delivered an elevator pitch for DELPHI, where she highlighted the DELPHI Use Cases. Marion had the opportunity to pitch DELPHI in front of the +150 attendees of the Wednesday afternoon session! Pitch slide is available here.
  2. DELPHI dissemination material was showcased in the exhibition area of the event, where participants and attendees had the chance to interact with top executives and decision makers from leading companies and EU institutions. The stand was shared with DELPHI’s sister projects ACUMEN & SYNCHROMODE as well as with the Multimodal Traffic Management Cluster.
  3. Mr. Evangelos Mitsakis from the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH), represented the Multimodal Traffic Management Cluster (DELPHI is a member of this cluster), towards presenting the recently launched roadmap, on the panel, “Digital transition: leveraging technologies for efficient and zero-emission logistics.” The roadmap is available here.
  4. In the exhibition area, a mapping showcased the work conducted in DEPHI’s WP2 on Governance, Regulatory and Stakeholder Analysis. ALICE has worked with Geodis and Mines Paris Tech’s expert group on Physical Internet to map as exhaustively as possible the landscape of initiatives linked to secure, safe and efficient data sharing/storage/usage at European level.
