Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2024 took place in Dublin, Ireland from Monday 15 to Thursday 18 April.
The theme for TRA2024 was “Transport Transitions: Advancing Sustainable and Inclusive Mobility”.
TRA, the Transport Research Arena, is the foremost European transport event that covers all transport modes and all aspects of mobility. It is the largest European research and technology conference on transport and mobility.
Transport Research Arena (TRA) offers a great venue for researchers, policymakers and industry representatives to get together and contribute to the discussion on how research and innovation can reshape the transport and mobility system. The conference provides a unique opportunity to hear about mobility trends in different parts of Europe, learn from achievements in the industry as well as share best practices of policies and deployments.

DELPHI had a three-fold representation:
- DELPHI was showcased at the ALICE Logistics Innovation Village (Hall 1, booth 12), where attendees could explore the future of logistics! Within the thematic cluster“Better life in better city” (Urban Logistics Cluster) attendees had the chance to get more information about DECARBOMILE, DELPHI_EU project, DISCO Project, GREEN-LOG, UNCHAIN Project, URBANE Project, URBANIZED.
- DELPHI was represented by a poster entitled “Integrated passenger and freight transport: seamless door-to-door mobility and optimal use of resources“. The poster was delivered by ICCS colleagues and it can be found here. The poster presentation is available here.
- DELPHI participated in the final event of FRONTIER and Orchestra2020 European Projects, that took place place during the TRA 2024, on Thursday 18th of April 13:30 -15:30 CET. ICCS representatives participated in the panel discussions and exchange views and insights related to the future of traffic management.
